Before we launch our traditional annual call for submissions, the festival is organizing a special thematic program for our 2013 season in partnership with la Médiathèque of Le Creusot and L’ARC National Theatre:
During its 2013 season, the International Video Dance Festival of Burgundy will curate a special program of screendance works inspired by and/or related to manga, graphic novels and comics. This program was developed in cooperation with the National Theatre’s new spring 2013 commission of manga-inspired stage work and a special exhibition of manga/graphic novel art at the Médiathèque of Le Creusot.
The festival is seeking submissions of screendance in any style that demonstrate a strong link to graphic novels, manga,or comics, as examined through the genre of dance film or single channel screendance installation. Works may be of any length. This program’s submission deadline is February 10, 2013.

Avant de lancer notre traditionnel appel à vidéo danse, le Festival International de Vidéo Danse de Bourgogne recherche des oeuvres pour un programme thématique en partenariat avec la Médiathèque du Creusot et en coopération avec la Scène Nationale du Creusot.
Pendant sa saison 2013, le Festival International de Vidéo Danse de Bourgogne organise un programme de vidéo danse inspiré par et/ou en relation avec les mangas et la bande-dessinée.
Le festival recherche des oeuvres de tous styles qui explorent des mangas ou des bandes-dessinées à travers la vidéo danse. La date limite de réception pour ce programme est le 10 février 2013.
