After the overwhelming success of its first year as the International Video Dance Festival of Le Breuil (Festival International de Vidéo Danse du Breuil), this global video dance platform has been renamed the International Video Dance Festival of Burgundy (Festival International de Vidéo Danse de Bourgogne) to reflect the event’s growing number of programs throughout the region of Burgundy. We are excited to continue offering new opportunities to screen video dance and other interdisciplinary works that investigate the use of technology, image and choreography. We look forward to another great year of promoting dance media!
Après le succès remporté par sa première édition, le “Festival International de Vidéo Danse du Breuil” – désormais “Festival International de Vidéo Danse de Bourgogne”, du fait de sa plus grande ampleur – est très heureux d’organiser diverses manifestations en Bourgogne pour son édition du printemps 2010. Nous continuons d’offrir au plus grand public possible l’occasion de visionner des films de danse appréhendant l’art chorégraphique sous un angle neuf, grâce à sa présence à l’écran, ainsi que d’autres projets explorant les relations de la danse à l’image et à la technologie. Nous sommes ravis de continuer cette aventure avec de nouveaux médias !

Hi Terry,
Thanks for your interest in the festival. We’re still determining the dates of the festival because there will be various events throughout the region, but the majority of the screenings will occur in April. We hope to release the precise schedule by the beginning of December. We’ll be sure to announce it on the blog, but I can also add you to our mailing list if you’d like. We hope to see you in April!
